Has anyone else's babies choked on their spit up before? My son is 7 almost 8 weeks old and today and yesterday both he spit up while in his rock and play and choked on it I mean like arms flailing, red faced, eyes building out, and not making noise! It's scaring the hell out of me! I always pick him up and pat his back until it's uo but it's really worrying me I feel like i can't even leave him alone to shower now. Idk what to do to make him stop doing that!

When he does that it's best to lay him over your arm on his tummy and pat his back.. Not upright. And @theinkedmommy gave some great advice too!

@theinkedmommy, he was so upset after I felt terrible and he was somewhat upright in his rock and play should he be even more elevated than that

@gabriellerose .i know so scary to see..i put an extra blanket under the head after they eat especially never lay them flat right after eating its very common in newborns

@sherrynygirl, he wasn't flat he was in his rock and play that's inclined 😭😭

@gabriellerose .yeah at times they need a little more just from my last baby boy I've noticed he likes to be more elevated so they don't get acid reflex and turn red and go limp/
