Help! My girlfriend's nrwborn is having gassed and crying non stop. Gripe water doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Maybe switch up her formula? Or if she's BF maybe something mom is eating? Switching up our formula dramatically helped when my daughter was gassy. She needed a sensitive formula
