I don't see how it's safe to only check a heartbeat after 20weeks until delivery. Especially with complaints of stomach and vaginal pain.
If you was having issues with your cervix &I was put on progesterone they should have been monitoring your cervix every two weeks. That's what I've been through this entire pregnancy and I had sonograms every two weeks until Monday which was my last being that everything looks good and hasn't changed for a while. I probably won't get anymore but they def are suppose to be checking you ! :/ I would speak up ASAP. My last pregnancy I let them do whatever and ended up losing my baby cause my water broke at 21 weeks. And no one saw it coming because no one cared to listen. Hope it all works out for you tho ❤️
Oh I would have went to someone else but being that you are already almost there speak with the doctor and if he still doesn't do anything speak with someone hire than him or just find another doctor and have them transfer your records if it concerns you then do all you can hun. This all comes down to you & your child's health and well being.
It's ok lol. They haven't done a sonogram since 20 weeks. I made them aware that with my first pregnancy I was having issues with my cervix & was put on progesterone because of early dilation. They haven't even checked this time around to make sure everything is normal. (Different hospital from last time) @lovemel
Sorry hun I commented exactly when you did lol.
So you haven't had a sonogram?
@lovemel they check heartbeat but that's all they do. I just don't see how they can go months without actually seeing what's going on in there. The pain stays. Tylenol doesn't work at all.
It could be ligament pains or muscle pains from your belly stretching. Does it go away with Tylenol?
All they do is check heartbeat with the Doppler. But I've really been having pain and they see no reason to check anything they tell me just take Tylenol. It's concerning. I can't walk for long periods of time without a crippling pain in the front of my stomach. He's like "it's normal". Every pregnancy is different but I didn't have this with my son. @beebaby
That's crazy I get an ultrasound every 2 weeks
