Anyone have a hard time telling the difference between a bh contraction and a real contraction when…

I did. I was induced, and started contracting after they put the cervical ripening agent in. The nurse asked how I was doing and I said I was sure having a lot of Braxton hicks and she laughed at me and said no dear, those are real and they are regular. This is labor! 😂

BH is inconsistent in timing. You'll Kno when u have a real one. Mine were 6 Minutes apart, then 5, then 4, then at the hospital they went from 3 minutes apart to two minutes apart.

Anything 1-5 minutes apart lasting longer than an hour, I'd go in.

The only difference is that real contractions are consistent in timing.

My BH were 6 -10 min apart an my real contacts were 30 seconds apart

Do real contractions hurt more than bh tho? By the time you realize to start timing them do u have to rush to get to the hospital? I have contractions pretty much all evening every evening at this point. I ignore them because they never progress but they're constant. I'm worried I'll miss my bodies queues and not realize I need to go to the hospital ha. With both my others I was induced so Idk what natural labor feels like. I appreciate the input ty @aliakr,

You'll know ! When you find yourself not being able to breathe through them it's time. I was induced so I didn't experience naturally going into labor. It took a good 6 hours for the contractions to get uncomfortable an then it just kept getting worse @megsandbabes,
