My best friend is also pregnant and is due in September. The father has denied the baby since conception and she wants to get child support which would require a DNA test but also does not want him to have any rights to her son... who could we talk to to get more information on what she should do to insure he can't take her son once he is proven his? PLEASE HELP!!!!

I would talk to a lawyer. But get the DNA test and see what he says afterward. Also save texts to prove his worth

Him and his family would do anything to hurt her if he is made to have a DNA test and if he has to pay child support... they are awful people who do not care about the babies well being what so ever.

If she doesn't want him to have any rights, then she should just do to on her own - no child support. No name on the birth certificate. Nothing. It will be hard, but if she asks for child support, then she's just inviting him into the babies life.

I agree with what @jennatess, says @zimmermand18902, sounds like shes wanting the best of each thing and unfortunately it doesn't happen that way. She would have to prove in court he is an unfit father once the DNA test confirms he is the dad. That would b the only way she could get support and dad wouldn't get visitation but then again he could get supervised or later clean up his act and take mom back to court

Look into an attorney or call the unemergency police department and get their opinion on the situation.
