So I'm due in August... it's almost May... and our baby room is not even close to being done! The fucking carpet that we need to replace is still in the room... ugg I'm going to start worrying when we get into the middle of May... do u guys think I should be worried or no? We need to rip our the carpet repaint the walls... we r doing one wall (1/2) a chalk wall, one forest theme wall, and one Disney theme wall, put down foam flooring, put a new celling light in the room, and build all his furniture. I feel like this is a lot to do in just those 3 months... and longer he waits to do this the more I won't be able to help... ug u mama's think I'm over reacting?

I don't think he's understanding how long all this will take! And I'm like nesting like crazy! I just want to open those boxes so bad to build the crib and dresser/changing table @melody_momof4

@sam-i-am, sounds like a lot to me. Ask him what if baby comes early? My son was due sept 2 we had his room done July 1 but just down the hall we had a construction zone. We had a new master suite (300 sq ft) built on to our home to be near baby we started mid April we hired out concrete framing roofing windows doors ac electrical Sheetrock and texture which left us with painting got the flooring and trim done in August it was crazy so anyways I was painting my new room on my due date lol. I had a vent mask 😷 everybody told me not to but I wanted to get it done. We moved from our old room to new room on my due date I had baby on the 7th those 4 days n new room were horrible bad dreams scared not cozy all while waddling to the bathroom then lost my mucus plug all over the new wood😂 start today once baby gets here u will have no time I say get everything completely ready by 30-32 weeks and the last 8 organize decorate relax eat

You have time I can see your stress though and excitement. What I would do is see if you can get him to start one project and work on it a few days out of the weel until its done then move to the next. See if he will go for that. @sam-i-am

Yeaaa I say Start now, you never know you might have the baby early...... Better now then rushing when baby Is here and you can't really help after giving birth....
