FTM here. I'm getting scared about delivery, especially because I don't want a medicated birth. My hips and lower back have been hurting so bad lately that I couldn't even sleep more than half an hour last night without changing positions. I finally had to prop myself up on 5 pillows and lay on my back. I've had a couple of really sharp pains and all night I felt sort of wet from my hips down. It might have been sweat but my room was super cold all night. Any one else have this or any tips?

I would definitely keep an eye out on the wetness!! Maybe wear a liner and if it's soaked I'd call my dr!! As far as the pain id say take a couple warm baths with epsom salt and you can take Tylenol if it's too bad and warm compresses on your hips and maybe prop up your belly too if you lay on your side

@mommalyles thank you! In the middle of the night I got the heat pad and turned it on it didn't really help though. I need to go get some more Epsom salts thanks for reminding me!

A stability ball might help alleviate some pain I used it until labor and then they had me use a peanut ball all the way til birth

Honestly labor isn't that bad I did just iv meds no epidural this time I want to try for nothing but I didn't need anything till the end and by the time I wanted epidural it was time to push but honestly the pushing part just felt like I was getting an Indian burn on my vagina
