I personally didn't have it done, but I've heard of people going into labor hours later, and days later. But with some people it's very painful

I had it done and went in later that day maybe hours later

@dess0712, I was due sept 2 and had it done 7 days prior at the time I was 90% effaced so I figured it would put me into labor asap well long story short I was still having no action on sept 6 after being checked that day I went to pig out then came home and walked for 6hr for blocks and blocks I would stop and take pee breaks and water breaks told hubby I'm walking till I go into labor well came in at 7:30pm and by 10 pm I was n active labor with contractions 5 mins apart labored at Hm 5 hr before going to hospital arrived at 4am continued walking more like running the halls had no med and 12more hr of natural labor and had him at 4:09. So basically if u want my advise don't get ur hopes up. But be ready and walk walk walk

I had one at 38+5d with my cervix being extremely far back, so basically if my OB didn't have two fingers down he would've be fisting me with how damn hard he was pushing [sorry tmi 😂🤣 ugh] but it worked! Two days later I had my son at 39w exactly
