Any mamas on here that went past your due date? Please tell me our experience! :) did you end up getting induced..?

i was 6 days past my due date with my son & i drank half a glass of wine (maybe less) because it was my 21st birthday & i went into labor that night & had him the day after my bday ! every day felt like weeks tho lol !

I went 6 days past my due date . the day of my NST scan I was having constant contraction but wasn't progressing at all wasnt even more than a 1/2 inch dilated. BT my water level was low and so they kept me . gave me a pill to make my contractions stronger . I was admitted into the hospital at 1230 pm had him at 430 am 😄

14 days past with my son. I was induced and had to have an emergency c-section.

I was due December 19 and had my baby the 29th. I went in on the 28 for my last check up before scheduling an induction. He checked me and I was finally 3cm dilated but during the check up he accidently broke my water he said that I had being leaking all morning and that when he checked down there he must of had broke it completely. so he told me to go straight to the hospital. So I was there and for 16 hours I had only dilated to 4cm. Then the 29th I got the pitocin and in 2 hours I was at 10cm dilated had my baby at 10:47. Unfortunately due to my water being broke for so long my baby was born with an infection and jaundice so he was in the NICU the whole time we were there plus an extra day. We brought him home on new years day.

@susanbolivarez, had you tried anything else to induce prior, such as nipple stimulation or primrose oil or walking? Were u still not dilated at all? Was your son extra big being born at 42 weeks??

@megsandbabes, I tried a lot of the home remedies I guess you could call them. Spicy foods, walking, nipple stimulation. I was only dilated to 2. He was born 7 lbs 15 and 21 inches. So not too big.
