Q3: @weeyogismommy, What are your thoughts about music during pregnancy? There are so many products to play music to your pregnant belly. Should we play your CDs while pregnant? #momlifechats
I played a lot of music for my daughter while I was pregnant with her. She especially enjoys 'somewhere over the rainbow' and calms when it is played. She also loves to play music and rock back and forth to all songs. I love her love for music.
Since babies can remember the songs and melodies...I feel it’s definitely important to sing songs that are relaxing, calming and positive all around. You won’t realize it but toddlers will remember even the words to songs parents sang when they were babies. I know I hope my little one is singing about things like; loving kindness and being calm rather than stuff I hear on the radio today. LOL
That being said, Yes, I think parents should definitely play my music to their babies in the womb. These are a couple of songs from my albums I think would be most soothing for the little wee babies; Loving kindness, long time sun, Butterfly, Just believe, Namaste (Those are song titles for you all you out there) #momlifechats
I think music for babies during pregnancy is wonderful. They say that babies can remember melodies that were sung to them in the womb. And that it can be soothing to them in the womb and then also later after birth. You’ll be able to get them easily calmed by those same songs. It’s incredible.#momlifechats
@abbydi, belly buds are great for your little one to hear music in the womb! Love them #momlifechats
