I know this is a safe place to share this, so here goes...
I'm currently living in pennsylvania with my SO and our baby girl. I'm originally from kentucky and that's where my family is now. Every time I get into some sort of depression, and they know about it, their solution is to suggest I come down to kentucky to visit.
Now, my fiancé and I have made multiple trips. The majority of my family have never came up here. My wedding is coming up on June 2nd. My aunt in Florida had the nerve to tell me that if we get married in Kentucky, she'll come but not if we get married in Pennsylvania. My daughters FIRST birthday is coming up on June 17th. My family isn't coming. I'm seriously done this time. 😠💩

I know the feeling ): Except I literally only live 30 minutes from most of my family and they still can't come to me. Some of my family lives 3 hours away and I will drive to them allllll the time and they still haven't come to me. My SO and I moved into our house in September last year and only my parents and his parents have been to the house. The rest of my family is selfish asf.

@jessicarose0602, how far are u guys? We are 10 hours from my inlaws. We don't have the $ to visit either (not after paying bills etc) but we don't make rude comments about it and make them feel unloved. 😕 they visit about 2-3 times a year. Idk how they get the spare $ to do so. It sucks but we FaceTime and message a lot. I'm sorry they make u feel this way.

Ugh I feel you girl!! The time I see my family is when I go to them! I pretty much can count on my fingers the times my mom visited me since my baby was born. Its your wedding and the ones that matter will make it wherever it is!
