It's a big deal to me, this is my first child and I wanted to name to be unique to the family. @kitcatmeow8383,

It was the only name we could agree on and she's taken it.

Did she know that was the name you picked? If not, can't be mad at her ya know. If she did, I would be mad too! Only time I think stuff like that is oaky (like one child has that name as first name and another child has it as their middle name) is if it's someone in the family's name (grandfather etc).

And it's very upsetting to me, I know this sounds selfish. This is her fourth kid. This is my first kid after being told I could never have children so it really upsets me. Let me have mine.

See we already both want a little girl, so if it was a little boy that name was the one thing we were excited about. I'm having a literal come apart over it because I already want a girl so bad, that if I have a boy it's literally gonna upset me because we can't agree on a name and it was so hard to agree on that one. Now I'm gonna look like an ass at the gender reveal because if it's blue I'm gonna literally cry because we wanted to announce the name at the gender reveal. @bria,

I get it I do. I'm sorry love. Most important thing is your baby being healthy growing and stuff. But, this situation is extremely irritating. (I had a girl and my SIL had a boy but they took my boy name as their sons middle name) so I understand. I'm happy that you have a little miracle inside of you and try to remember that regardless of the gender or name. Believe me the first time you hold your baby in your arms you will forget about all these stresses. I know it's a pain because you loved that name but you never know you might find one you love even more !!! I would still say something after though either way. Sounds like she was tryna steal your sunshine and that's not okay.

I don't think you're overreacting. I would feel the same way esp given your situation where you were told you couldn't have any babies. To have the name you chose kind of copied is wrong.

If she intentionally did this, I would be mad. Maybe it'll be a girl so u don't have to worry about it🙏

don't stress out about it until u both find out the genders. not good for baby and there's no point stressing with it being a bit far away.
