It happens. My son would fight sleep bad when he was over stimulated throughout the day.

Hmmm over stimulated?? Only thing I can think of is going to MIL and the whole family was over there

@luceromommy, possibly who knows?! All I know is that I'm super tired I've been up all day with also a 3 yr old and my husband is no help since he is sick and he worked all week and worked today for 12 hours and has to go back and work

@luceromommy beat me to it lol could also be growing pains, I have little massages/rub downs on my babies' arms and legs when I suspected that's what it was. Seemed to help. Hope the little darling can rest well soon :)
