Ok. I suffer with bad anxiety! I was scared to death and I kept reading bad stories online but I knew I had to do it healthwise. Anyway, You don't eat or drink after midnight. You go to the hospital and they take you preop. They start you on fluids Ask you some simple questions. You see nurses, your surgeon, and you anesthesiologist. After about 45 min they take you back to the OR. Give a mask, tell you to breath deep and your OUT! When I woke up, I was just very sleepy. My pain was at about an 8. I asked for more meds. The nurse said I could but if I got another dose I would have to stay a half hour more. Which was fine with me. After that dose of medication my pain went down to a 3. I was given ice chips, then juice and crackers. Then I was able to reunite with my husband 😊. They don't let you leave until you pee. Some advice I would give don't read the stories online. I scared myself to death. Just go to your doctor and ask questions! It was not all as bad as I thought! @krystalft.two
