I hate stories like this! Having a baby is not a disability. Women that give birth and go back to work should not be made to feel like a burden, ever. It really pisses me off.

@kemara, I agree 100%! I was so pissed. They want me to get a doctors note and fill out a disability form so I can continue to have time to pump. No where in the federal law does it say I need one and no where in my works policy does it say I need one. I'm going to fight it because it's ridiculous!

Among many provisions, Section 4207 of the law amends the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) of 1938 (29 U.S. Code 207) to require an employer to provide reasonable break time for an employee to express breast milk for her nursing child for one year after the child's birth each time such employee has need to express milk.
