So with the research I did, I decided I won't be using Johnson and Johnson products on my baby. Now, would it be rude or distasteful if I put a note in my baby shower invites telling people NOT to give us Johnson and Johnson products?

No, I don't think it'd be rude. I don't like j&j either. We use Shea moisture baby. Really good stuff.

No it wouldn't but if you feel like you'll be rude you can always just take it back to the store and switch it for what you want to use

I didn't even register for j&j products, just aveeno baby. Tell them you prefer that product and the reason. I prefer aveeno products because my baby has sensitive skin, how do I know that... because her siblings have sensitive skin. Most likely she will have sensitive skin.

I read a couple hundred ppl have lawsuits against them claiming it caused cervical cancer. A lot of their ingredients are harmful. Even seen a few commercials of law firms advertising their assistance to anyone who was harmed by j&j products @justinx2

@justinx2, there's been documentaries about how they have trace amounts of ingredients like arsenic but because it's not over FDA guidelines, they don't have to warn people about it. I personally feel even small amounts, when used repeatedly on infants can lead to a build up in their system. It can't possibly be good for them.
