So I've been working out at home recently, trying to get into shape for myself and what not and I saw a flyer for planet fitness and it seems like a good idea. I was just curious if anyone else has ever been there or how they like working out in gyms?

ive had 24hr & planet fitness. their both a big difference it just really depends on what u wanna do. if u wanna lift i recommend 24hr becus planet fitness weights are really light & there equipment is like the easier stuff that support ur body more so it wont help grow muscle much. but if u plan on doing pure cardio then planet fitness is for u!

I go to 24 and The only reasons I don't like it is because sometimes the machines you need are being used and you have to wait and also, that people stare lol I like it cause seeing the super fit and even obese people putting in work, motivate me to push myself.

Planet fitness is an excellent starter gym. I feel like a gym is a commitment and the best thing to get started is to do it at one like planet fitness ☺ it's cheap and offers basic equipment. Its def a different dynamic than working out at home. I enjoy both for different reasons. The gym has equipment I don't have but at home I can use YouTube to follow workout classes that the gym may not offer. Also taking classes at your gym is super motivating because you can do it with a group. From what I remember, planet fitness doesn't do the many conventional classes most gyms have but they offer free group personal training. It can help you stick to a workout since you can have social network at your gym 🤗
