Long answer: it's positive. The reason the test line is so dark is because you are very pregnant the first are early testing so the can give u a great line at 3-4 weeks along. You are probably more 5-6 weeks along the test only has so much dye so if your hcg is high due to being further along most of the dye will collect on the test line leaving the control line faint. Short answer: you are pregnant congratulations

If you're looking at the lighter line that one is the control line. The test line is the darker one so you so very pregnant

I would try another test. Usually the control line is dark or just as dark as your test line. I have never seen the control line be so light. I could be wrong. @h_mother0322

@rebeca the test line can be darker if there's lots of hcg present. The control line is really there just to show that the test is valid so unlike opk's it doesn't mean anything as long as it's there.

No I'm 13 weeks now. I think I was 4 weeks and a couple days when I took the test. It was a little past when AF was due

They said based on my period I'm 3 weeks & 5 days @halibug,

The first test I took was 10 dpo or 3 weeks and 3 days and this is what it looked like

So maybe you ovulated sooner or maybe you produce more hcg than others

It's my third baby, when I was pregnant with my second baby pregnant test was confirmed when I was 2 weeks @halibug,

So u would definitely say you're one if the ones who's body secretes more hcg than others and that's why your line gets dark earlier
