Today, I feel like I failed as a mother. Going to bed thinking about how much I yelled at my daughter today. It's hard raising a toddler, especially being a single mom. I get so angry with her when I have to tell her "no" a hundred times and she still does it. She is too young to understand the concept of time outs and the difference between right and wrong. It is MY job as her mother, to teach her these things. And I know everything I say and do, will impact her now and in the future. I want to teach her raising her voice and screaming is never the answer to get your point across but how am I supposed to teach her that when I do it myself? 😔🤷🏼♀️ Monkey see, monkey do. So I want to promise myself each day, no matter how hard or stressful she makes me, she's the greatest blessing I'll ever have. I'm going to keep trying, every single day to be more patient, more loving, more understanding, and more kind in every action I take. 💔❤️

My son is around the same age. What I do is swat his hand lightly and say no. I don't yell. And now he doesn't do those things anymore. Like ripping all the movies off the shelf 😂

You haven't failed as A mother sweety. There is no handbook on how to be a mom. It may feel like life is draining out of you bc kids need so much attention and raising a child as a single mother takes a strong woman. And you are 😁

Girl I sometimes feel the same way, but we're all in the same process of learning and sometimes we learn with them. Don't feel bad. Whatever you think you did wrong and meditate about it, try to fix it so it doesn't happen again. We all make mistakes but we can always learn from them. It is stressful and I do loose it sometimes, I can imagine you being a single mother how hard it can be. But stay strong and positive, your babygirl loves you and you accepting your wrongs is a big step.
