It's the age. I worked in an infant room. Everyone of them fought every single nap. They're so curious and concerned that they may miss something. I say try to stick to a routine, scheduling will help, also him knowing what comes next will help. Like if her knows after bath he gets milkies then lays down, then during bath time his body will start to relax and prepare for the next step (milkies, then bed) same goes for naps.

I've been sticking to a routine forever. But lately it's a nightmare. He fights sleeping so much. Like he has to be right with me at night time. I enforce his crib as much as I can but I get so tired. 😔@jhalsted1995, he has like separation anxiety.

Oh man. Just stay strong and you'll get through it. It's definitely the age, 7-15 months every kid I've worked with goes through a rough patch. We used to sit next to the cribs rubbing their backs or patting their bottoms (if they were belly sleepers otherwise it was rubbing their tummy) until they go to sleep. Sometimes it took a while but with one of us sitting with an arm in the crib they would eventually sleep.

I'm trying. My mom said he shouldn't need a bottle in the middle of the night but lately I'm finding I think he's hungry. So I've been giving him a bottle. It's hard. I've tried doing the sitting next to his bed but it doesn't work. And my bed is right next to his so he can see me. Idk what it is or how to fix it. He was making slow progress at one point and now he's just taken 12 steps backward. I have to to be up at 615 and I've yet to sleep yet 😞@jhalsted1995,

Oh man. Well I personally feel like if a baby is hungry feed them. My daughter is only breastfed and she eats on demand. The hardest thing was we had one little girl who would cry and we would just lay her down over and over she would always keep sitting up but after a while would give up and just cry laying down but put herself to sleep. Her parents said it was the only way they could get her down.

The cry it out method is hit or miss with him. And I breastfeed also but I don't think he gets enough from me so that why I give him a bottle too. Now he's sleeping. But to get him down and stay asleep is the thing. Sigh.@jhalsted1995,

Have you tried something warm with him once he is asleep like a sock filled with rice and warmed up. It'll feel like body heat against him.

I received a bear as a gift that is specifically for this. You guy them to sleep and lay the warmth against them it's supposed to keep them asleep.

I'm not sure but I know to make a moist heat pack it's just uncooked rice in a tube sock
