Does this person have other rental properties? I would want physical copies of things to fill out, not an email. As long as you get keys and see the inside before giving ANY money or info Idk why it wouldn't be legit.

Like our lease is about 10 pages long of details.

Don't sign anything ever or send money unless you've met them in person and even doing so you still have to be careful @rileysmomma16

Its extremely hard. And if we rent from someone we don't have to pass the "you need to make 3x the monthly income" crap. We have money for rent but that's what's messing us up. I'm praying its legit! @twins1987

I never rented before but ive been with my mom on the process and that is a scam.. Anyone renting a space is ALWAYS available to meet and usually has paperwork on hand. Good luck.
