It seems that my son isn't very good at paying attention. Daycare said that they couldn't get him to sit down to do his ABC's. How do your baby pay attention?

@calebsmum, there's a difference between can't and won't. You know him better than the daycare, sometimes people confuse boredom as learning issues.
Can he do them at home?
I didn't think it was possible to get a three year old to sit still anyway. My daughter certainly won't sit for long.
I've found when my three year old doesn't pay attention, it's because he's just not interested. The activity isn't fun or isn't something he enjoys doing. At 3 you can't really "force" them to want to learn.
Is it possible he just doesn't want to do ABC's because his daycare doesn't make it interesting enough for him? They're style may work for some kids, but may not for him.
