Aaaand MIL officially dug herself in a hole. She will not be in Olivia's life and I will now not feel guilty because she brought it upon herself. Can you ladies give me opinions? Am I being reasonable? Keep in mind she has asked to come over and then flaked EIGHT times. No call, no show, nothing. She has seen my daughter a total of three times in 9 months and has held her twice for a combined total of 5 minutes. I think I'm in the right here. The entire convo is in the comments

Omg I have almost an identical situation and my daughter is too named Olivia,
Well her dad(aka sperm donor), has seen her maybe 3 times and she just turned a year , and didn't call or anything on her bday, and now has another kid on the way, with a teenager practically
eight-TEEN YEAR OLD, and she has a huge problem with him having any interaction with me and , he lets this and the fact he's a coward p****, stop him from being her dad,
Mind you, I've always had the door open for him to step up and be apart of her life, but now I've closed that door to him, and he's no longer invited to be in her life, bc she deserves better , although I do let his dad and step mom continue to .
