I haven't had those questions or comments. Maybe it's because of the environment I live in, inside of Chicago. People understand that Chicago is an expensive city and not many dads pitch in to help (financially) with their babies. People seem to understand that I had to go off to work when my baby was only 2 months and it was separation anxiety to the max (for both of us)! I don't like, completely, relying on gov't assistance. I like to provide for my baby the best way that I can. Being a stay at home mom is not an option when you're trying to get out of your mom's home.
