Finally made it to see the #FearlessGirl sculpture in the financial district on our staycation. Installed by State Street Global Advisors, the work is designed by Kristen Visbal, a Lewes, Del., artist. the “Fearless Girl” statue was placed in the financial heart of NYC as a call for more women to serve on corporate boards. I took the girls and reminded them that there are only 7 female CEOs running the top 100 companies, yet there are 17 men named John and 12 named David. We can do better. They can do better.
