If the father of my baby is no longer in the picture should I give my kid my last name?

Nobody get mad at me its just the way I was raised I feel like you should still give your child his last name. It's only right. The way I look at it is put it on the other shoe. I wouldn't want someone giving my child their last name but I'll support you either way @jjpena30
