So we've basically accepted that we really don't have time to sit and wait for a house we want to buy. We wanna be out of our house as soon as possible. So we're looking at apartments. The cheapest houses for rent around here are at least $1500-1750 a month for a 2 bed 1 bath, and that just isn't feasible at the moment because our current rent has been sucking every penny.
So, apartments. I'm hesitant..loud neighbors and all that. Also, a lot of apartments around here really aren't much better in price...😦 And I'm sitting here looking for the perfect floor plan lol. I don't want the laundry room next to baby's room, I don't want the bedrooms right next to each other, etc..this is so difficult. 😅😅

If the prices aren't any better, definitely go with renting a house. You'll have a yard, no upstairs or downstairs neighbors, etc.
I'm struggling looking as well. We're moving from Virginia, to Illinois. It's hard just looking online. 😒

@breloya they're a little better, but not much. They're a few hundred dollars cheaper and usually more square footage, surprisingly. They're also in better neighborhoods bc the cheaper houses are usually low-income.
