Ok mommies let's chat. My son is almost 9 months. I honestly believe babies be knowing certain things. Example if my son hit me in the face at least three times I say Jayce that's not nice you don't do that to mommy. Am I wrong ? My mom keep saying don't say nothing because he's a baby and he doesn't know.

I think they go off emotions more than anything. So just telling him is fine. I tell my two month old no one likes a cry baby. Lmao. But I playfully say it.

Definitely say something, that's how they learn! He probably doesn't fully understand the words that you're saying just yet, but he understands the tone and reads your body language.

I started telling my daughter "no" around 6 or 7 months and she understands. She doesn't really listen, but if she's trying to get ahold of something and I say no, she'll stop. She usually goes for it again, but she eventually gets the message. 😂 they definitely understand! It takes a while for them to learn, but if you keep at it, then they'll eventually get it.

We underestimate how smart babies are and how much they take in. Keep doing what your doing! Times are different now and information has expanded and back then they used to think oh babies know nothing but we know better now!! Just think of how much they learn on there own in the womb before they are even here! Keep doing what your doing. Besides it's good practise! And it isn't hurting anybody @jaycemommy730
