I have been so stressed out lately and not able to make that much milk honestly idk what to do…

That was me!!! We switched and it was the best decision I no longer have crying fits. Yes me, not just the baby! Lol. I was only producing 1- 1.5 ounces a day. I would pump 3-4 times. I was beyond stressed. I feel ya! Do what's best for you and your baby!

@kstout711 Yeah if i keep not producing that much milk ill switch but im gonna try everything i can possibly do to not stress out whether it be go get consoling or go take a breather im not against formula i just want whats best for her.

How much milk are you producing?

@thevloggymommy Sometimes 2oz sometimes an ounce in a half before I used to get 3 to 4oz i only get alot out when there is a letdown but after thats over i can barely get any out.

@celiesmommy01, some important things you should know. Your breasts are never empty. Your baby can get milk out more effectively than a breast pump therefore, drinking more milk than you think while on the breast. On average woman should be producing 1 to 1.5 oz of breastmilk an hour. If your baby is gaining weight you are doing fine. @cubanese would you please shed some light on this if you will, before she gives up. 🙏🏻 Also if you can correct me if I'm wrong.

@thevloggymommy So is what im pumping ok? She is gaining the weight she needs to and making enough wet and poo diapers its just the way im living its just stressing me out and im trying not to because i know it can effect my milk supply and stress my baby girl out as well and neither one of those are good.

@thevloggymommy I just have no idea why im losing so much milk supply maybe its juat my body only making what she needs.

@celiesmommy01, I would have continued but Trevy wasn't gaining weight. So I had to do something. I thought the best thing I did when I was going through it was meeting with my lactation specialist. She walked me through everything to try to produce more. She was even worried about the amount and how he wasn't gaining proper weight.

@kstout711 Some days ill get alot and some days i wont i guess my milk supply is bipolar...

@cubanese Is it ok that i only get alot out of one breast?

@cubanese It sometimes changes tho like one day ill get alot out of my right and then one day ill get alot out of my left it all depends

And i was told to pump if shes not on the breast i do it after almost every feeding

How much should a 2 month old baby get if a 1 month old can get 2.5-5oz?

@cubanese I latch her on more then I pump I just sometimes pump if my nipples are to sore but I got that fixed at my WIC appointment because she was having trouble latching so I had them observe her.

For my next one I will definitely try again! Hope things get better for you! @cubanese, I wish I was talking to you when I was going through it! 😩
