My son is 9 and on Monday, he received his first phone number from a little girl. I'm so not ready for any of this and definitely not ready for my little boy to grow up. He is so excited about calling this little girl, and I'm not sure what to do. The first time I talked to a little boy on the phone I was in 6 grade, but my son is in 3 grade and not sure how to handle this situation.

@jaysnum1fan they grow up so fast I have a 9yr old he will be 10 in July but he just started talking to a girl on the phone I'm not ready but I have to get ready

Girl I know what u mean we just moved to a new neighborhood and there are all kinds of little girls that my 7 year old says he has 3 girlfriends and is always trying to take them candy or stickers out of my scrapbook stuff lol

When my 15 year old daughter was in 2nd grade and moved to a new school, she met a boy in her class and exchanged numbers. She asked to call him and next thing I know, I'm on the phone with his mother because the kids were making their own plans for a play date at McDonald's. Lol

Like I said, she's 15 now, but that boy has no chances of a McDonald's date these days. According to her, he's never going to be back on her radar. Kids!!! Lol
