My son just had what I think was a night terror, I'm so sad and concerned. I didn't know what to do, it seemed as if he was having a seizure of some sort. He woke up screaming and didn't appear to be aware of his parent's presence and wasn't doing anything but crying. I definitely not going to get any sleep tonight worrying about him.

my baby would wake up screaming at night always around the same time (2:30 AM) & he cried so bad, he doesnt even cry like that when hes in pain (like when he gets blood drawn from heel or his shots) it was the worst, idk why he used to do that but i always felt the urge to not fall asleep so i could pick him up ASAP when he started crying. it worried mr and broke my heart so i know how you must feel.

I spoke with my sons nurse that works for the pediatrician. She said that it was possibly a night terror and there's nothing we can do about it when it happens. I educated myself about the issue and it has to do with an interruption in the sleep cycle. I'm hoping it doesn't happen again. After some time, my son was comforted by a milk 🍼 @_maria, @firemanswife, Thank you ladies for commenting on your experiences.
