So my husband and I decided we are not gonna throw our daughter a 1st birthday party. We are gonna take her to coco keys. It has nothing to do with the money. We just want our baby to remember the bomb ass party her parents threw for her. She is either gonna be sleep or crying the whole time. So I know she will have so much more fun there in the water being that her birthday is literally one of the hottest days of the summer. July 31st.. how many of u moms agree???

I had a summer baby too. July 3. We had a house BBQ with friends and family to celebrate her first few birthdays and put up a baby pool and sprinklers for her and any other children that were there. She had a cake for memories-sake (messy baby cake photos are so much fun!), but otherwise, we kept it simple. I think it's completely fine if you keep your party true to what works for your family! The important part is to celebrate your love for her and to have quality time together. Sounds like that's what you're doing!
