Husband- Where does our daughter take her naps?

Me- On the floor.

Husband- no like where do you lay her down at? Like the pack n play, her bed, our bed, the couch.

Me- The floor.

Husband- (looks at me confused )

Me- Hand her the gray blanket on the couch and watch what she does.

Husband- (grabs the blanket and hands it to her)

Daughter- (smiles, throws herself on the floor in the hallway, and rolls to wrap herself in the blanket)

Me- (looks at my husband) told ya on the floor. Go put the blanket in the middle of the living room with a sippy placed next to it and her teddy bear then turn on cartoons and she will wrap herself in the blankets and go to sleep when she's tired.

Husband- (starts to laugh and does what I said)

Daughter-(follows her dad nodding her head yes while baby talking/ yelling at him. She then lays down on the blanket, grabs her sippy and watches cartoons until she falls asleep)

Don't know why it was so surprising to him that she likes to lay on the floor and puts herself down for her naps. I don't have to do anything but make sure a blanket is some where she can reach it. If there isn't a blanket she will go to the hallway open the cabinet where her blankets are and take as many as she wants and go to sleep. Her puppy won't let her sleep past 5:30pm. If she's sleeping and it's around 5:30pm he will go where ever she decided to go to sleep and lick her, or nudge her with his head until she wakes up to play with him.
