Does anyone tell their children "if someone hits your hit back"? If yes why? If no why ?

I don't. If my children hit each other I've taught them to come right to me or daddy. Do NOT hit back. Otherwise they would kill each other lol

No. Violence on violence is not the answer. I believe you can stand up for yourself without having to be violent. Now, if my kid is being full on attacked, I do plan on them learning self defense techniques in order to protect themselves in a life threatening situation.

At school protocol is this:

1 tell them stop and walk away

2 notify an adult

3 hit back if adult doesn't help and the kid is still bothering.

My kids need to know violence isn't the answer but also to defend themselves if it becomes necessary

I am against violence on violence. Violence doesn't promote nothing but negativity. Telling your child/children to hit another child is promoting violence. I want to break the cycle of violence or violence especially since I am raising biracial handsome men. I refuse for my sons to be a stereotype by our media.

If my child was getting attacked then I would address with the school and child's parents. In my opinion violence doesn't slove nothing.
