Topic: subcorionic hematoma. Has anyone had this? How far along did you have your baby? Did it cause prom? How old is baby now?

Oh okay I should be able to find it today and now on then .. I'm so nervous about my cramps though. They come and go

@taylor.stahr, do you have a fetal doppler? I bought one online to reassure me you can find the babies heart beat on it
Oh okay! Dang I'm just concerned cause I'm not showing and I heard baby can die in the sac and not necessarily fall out so I'm concerned lol
@taylor.stahr, I work at a funeral home so I had to take a leave from work but I have a five year old I don't lay in bed all day and rest when I can I am currently at the park with her
Have they had you on bedrest ? Or do they want you to work ?
@taylor.stahr, it all depends on how yours heals or doesn't mine hasn't I don't know why and the doctors don't have enough info on that type of issue it's a wait and see type of thing
See that's what I wonder too, does it grow as our baby grows ?
Is yours the same size as it was when it was found ?

@taylor.stahr, yes period cramps because the hematoma causes your uterus to be irritated drink lots of water and that should help
I get so nervous when I cramp I always run back and forth to the toilet to make sure I'm not bleeding .. it feels like period cramps ?

@taylor.stahr, dark is good that means it's old blood bright red is what you need to be careful of
I can't really tell where mine is, it looks like it is on the side. I haven't had any spotting since it happened and it was all dark brown.
@taylor.stahr, mike got smaller then grew then thinned out then changed shape I have only had a 3 week break from spotting blood. I'm currently spotting. It has not affected baby I think it also has to do with where the hematoma is mine is not in the sac it's above it
Mine was found at 8 weeks too! Has yours grown or threatened your baby at all or anything? I still get scared because this is my first pregnancy.
@taylor.stahr, I still have mine and mine was found at 8 weeks and I'm almost 25 weeks and still bleed from it
Just turned 12 weeks today. Dr has me on bedrest to cause it from growing since I'm a nurse & working 12 hour shifts lol. Pelvic rest & no lifting. I get monitored every week & so far baby is fine, heart beat and actively moving! I go tomorrow to see how the hematoma is doing. Heard they are common and absorb on their own within a few weeks.

Ive bled twice from it so far ... i was prescribed 81mg asprin so it doesn't grow and affect the baby, but as long as your doctor says everything is ok and its not affecting the baby then you should be fine 😊
@bri61217, I haven't bled and a good few weeks and then it started up again feeling very sleepy even though the doctor say that it's not affecting the baby at all
@bri61217, how are you handling it and do you bleed often from it ?
Oh okay, is leave of absence the same as disability? Do you get paid for leave of absence or no?
