This is why i didnt want a baby shower lol especially since im having twins everything is more expensive. So im buying everything so that i get exactly what i want lol my stroller & carseats were $650 & im sure no one would of gotten thaf but gotten a cheaper one.

Make it clear. And why that's the one you chose. Maybe see how much she can cover and maybe you can cover the rest?

@rosebrandi626, I understand a lot of the things that I wanted for my baby were a bit pricy and I didn't want to hear people complain so we didn't have a baby shower either. Tell her not to be so cheap. Lol.

@jhndms, right! Like I don't want to sound ungrateful, but baby stuff is expensive, and in most cases the more expensive items, like stroller and car seats are better quality and safer

Yess i agree & plus thats why you have a registry so people see exactly what you want not what's cheaper for them they could get you something that's not as much. I dont think its ungrateful at all.

I would just ask her if she would like to help with buying the more expensive one, and you guys can cover what she can't... she is still helping, so maybe she will be okay with that idea. To simply want to buy a completely different one so she doesn't have to spend so much really isn't an option...

Ask her to get something else because you are getting something specific and already planned too. Or buy it and then tell her you have that item but another item in her budget would help
