How much would you pay a family member to watch your 1yr old Mon-Friday 8 hour days?

Depends, if its grandparents or aunts or uncles nothing.. but just depends on the relative

It would be my mom. I mean we live with her still, and she watches her now while I go to work and doesn't ask for anything but to pay either the water or lights. But as of now I'm only working 4-5 hours a day. And plus she still hasn't went back to work since January so as of now its working out for us. I'm thinking about getting a 2nd job or a full time 3rd shift so I can move out. @lovefaithkindness

Sorry for the lengthy response. I'm just so stressed idk where to begin and i don't want to put her in daycare.

I would give her maybe 50 to a 100 bucks a week and maybe ask her if she needs anything. @rileysmomma16

I always did $10 a day but that's for one child

@lovefaithkindness that's what I was thinking I just dont want to over-do / under-do it you know? Cause she literally asks for nothing in return, she would baby sit for free, but I don't feel comfortable doing that.

@rileysmomma16 thats how i feel with my dad. I understand you dont want to make her think your taking advantage of her.. i get it. I try to help my dad when he watched my daughter because he isnt working and i always feel bad.

I'd do 15-20 a day for a family member. The in home daycare & normal daycare rate in my area is about 30-50 a day.

I wanna say about 15 bucks a day. 60 bucks a week is pretty good in my opinion
