I just tried it on my 5 month old for the first time today with a frozen banana & she LOVED IT!

I wouldn't recommend the mesh. I like them but they're hard to clean. They make silicone rubber ones that might be easier.

I have tried both the silicon ones and the mesh ones. The silicon ones are easier to clean but it made it hard for my son to get anything out of it. To clean the mesh I actually use a pipe cleaner after I have soaked it in hot water. The pip cleaner gets into all the small folds and then I like brush it with the pipe cleaner and it gets out all the small particles! I just use the pipe cleaner that comes with the Dr. Browns bottles!

I tried it my daughter barely used it, sucked and bit for a couple second and let it go every time i used it with her
