Took another test and hubs is still skeptical... because the positive isn't as dark as the control. Today is the first day of my missed period (super long cycles). What other tests do you recommend (this is first response) and how long should I wait to take a digital? Our first child, and he is one of those don't get your hopes up people while I'm ready to burst. His level-head is one of the things I love most but right now I want him to be excited too!

Congrats first and foremost. And with my first, I took a digital that same day and got a positive. You can dry, but don't be discouraged if it's negative. Your HCG just might not be high enough at the moment. Also, you're very early. Of course it won't be as dark as the control yet aha. Good luck.

@breloya, thank you! I know it is early. The only reason I started testing early is because I feel, and have felt for about a week, so different.

Congrats I really hope everything goes well a child is a true blessing, I also have long cycles too mine go to 146 days and higher so far I've only had one period this year and all of this is because of PCOS I really hope you aren't struggling with the same curse I am ❤

You don't have to explain to me. I've tested over 15 times. I'm addicted. I'm not much further along than you are 😂
We know our bodies best. That's also why I tested early, even before my missed period and got a positive. I just felt off.

@amberjacq, thank you! Mine are 32 days on average - super was a bit of an exaggeration, but when I was younger they were 21 days & gradually got longer, so relatively speaking, 32 is long from what I once was. I've not ever been diagnosed with anything and hope things are okay! I go to the doctor on the 25th.

Personally I like the pink dye tests not the blue ones. The dollar store ones are super reliable and cheap. I would buy like 5 and test daily to see line darken. It's what they use in the dr office. The digital ones are the least sensitive and can give a false negative. I tend to stay away from those also. Good luck it looks positive as of now.

Looks positive to me! But I also just did the dollar store tests for both of my kids once I missed my period 😄😄

Read on the paper that comes with the test it will tell you somewhere it doesn't matter how dark it is or light if there is two lines your pregnant and show him where it says that or I can take a picture of where it says that on the paper from the test I took a couple days ago
