Some girl on FB kept trying to argue with me over something stupid, and when she ran out of things to say, she said "Don't you have a kid to take care of and complain about?"

Ahhh, I love that line.

Yes, I have a kid. Contrary to popular belief, I can take care of my kid WITHOUT holding her 24/7. She's old enough and independent enough that she likes to play on her own. Also, children sleep.

My kid is taken care of. Which means I can do whatever I want to do. 🤗

Also, if my kid is a total mess, yeah, I'll complain. Just like every parent does. It's normal. If you don't have kids, you don't understand. Parenthood isn't all sunshine and roses! 🙂 That particular jab was because I said I wanted to go back to work but don't have reliable childcare. I'm not complaining that I have to take care of her. I LOVE being with her! But I would also like to get back to work eventually. Not everyone wants to or is able to be a SAHM. Again, not something you really understand unless you have kids and are with them 24/7.

So yes, I have a kid to take care of. She is taken care of. Don't throw her into an argument just because you realised you were wrong. Mommas are allowed to do more than stare at their babies all day!
