How did you guys sleep train your babies? And what age were they?
My oldest was pretty easy. He's always been independent. My second refused to sleep on his own until he was almost 2. I hated the cry it out method.
I ended up getting a futon mattress and laying it in his room. I slept there with him every night so he'd get used to sleeping in his room. It made it easier to sneak away once he was asleep cause I didn't have to pick him up or move him to a crib. I'd go back in every time he'd cry and help him back to sleep. I'd stay with him on nights I just didn't want to deal with it 😂
One day it just sort of clicked with him and he stayed asleep all by himself. It took a few months, but that was the easiest way for all of us.
Yeah my baby would sleep with me for the first month only at night, an nap In her crib. I got scared when I read about bad things happening when you bedshare so I stopped an she slept in her crib every time since. I really didn't do anything different but just hold her till she is almost asleep or asleep an then lay her down in her crib an then she'll stay asleep. She sleeps from 10/11pm till 6:30 am everyday an she's now 3 months. I didn't believe in sleep training she just did it on her own. An lately she will soothe her self to sleep too without me having to hold her to sleep @marjand,
