Yes, You should carry & try to calm baby down when ever baby cries. A new study has shown that letting your baby cry could affect their brain & cause stress/anxiety throughout their life.
I asked my doctor about the effects of mom going through severe emotional stress (so crying would be included in this) and he said that the stress hormone does not pass through the placenta. So crying, stress, etc. does not negatively affect the baby.

@kellyt23, I have to ask my mom. She teaches special needs prek because of that she has to take a lot of class and that one of the things she learned.

@kirstin678 awwwwwww great news. Thankfully for your reply. I was a bit concerned.

As was I. I was having some severe emotional breakdowns so it was good to hear.

@kirstin678 did you find out what cause it ?
Kirstin·
What caused my breakdowns? I've got some emotional problems to begin with and the hormones only intensified it.
