Honestly as baby gets older dogs become such a help lol my dog showed my son to roll over crawl and walk and my son always has a friend to play with especially on rainy days when we go out they literally play and run alll over the house chasing each other also my dog watches my daughter like he does my son if she's in the room and wake up he comes to tell me since she's not crying I don't know she's up but he does. And I never taught him any of this he just did this on his own

@sillyval0920, thank you! This is reassuring because my female is such a mother figure to our male and our cat. Plus she has already taken an interest in our baby and likes to be around her and runs to check on her when she is crying. But everyone keeps telling me that having my dogs around the baby is bad for her even though they never really are inside.

@2016stacys, I honestly never push my dog or any dog away from my kids for that matter if that's push them away they become more instreated and if they don't know what's going on they become agitated . It's like my toddler too I can't tell him not to go near his sister because he's going to want to do it more ! And mess with her because I tell him no ! I just have to let him and show him to be nice ! Dogs know they feel vibes if you raised a good dog your dog will be amazing to your baby

As long as your baby is fine and dogs arnt hurting baby then their fine. To me animals are baby and family 😂

Too many dogs end up in shelters because of this. I say if they're good around the kids then there's no good reason to get rid of them

@halibug, @laciemarie, @sillyval0920 I have no intention on getting rid of them. They are my family too. It just irritates me that Everyone wants me to ft rid of them

@2016stacys, oh trust me my mother in law was the same way and my parents too but when I would send them videos and photos they quickly changed their mind I even gave the dog a hospital blanket of my son and daughter befor I brought them home to introduce the smell befor they came home so he wouldn't be so hyper still this day he won't sleep with out the blankets and honestly he sleeps w me and the kids my son has slept ontop of him lol he saved my son from falling off the bed this is when my son was 1 and half and a crazy asss sleeper so my dog always sleeps back to back w him
