I have a question for you mamas...
My old landlord keeps calling us to get a heater back that he got us as a gift for Christmas. Mind you instead of fixing the heat in our sons nursery, he decided it would be best to buy us a heater (as a gift.) Still, we were grateful. Included in our 1200 rent was heat and hot water, we paid electric and gas. Our bill went up because of the heater..... We didn't mind at the time because our sons room was warm. He's harassing us for this heater, but I don't think we should give it back. He gave it to us as a gift. He could have fixed the heat, but he was lazy. The two months that we used that heater, we paid the extra money on our electric bill. So we basically paid for the heater. Its not about the money, it's about principle... What do you ladies think?

Exactly! @ellieinmybelly He was the worst. He was one of those fake people who pretended to be nice. We never wanted to bother him to fix anything, because dealing with him was annoying. He was so lazy......

Just tell him to take you to court he should have kept part of security deposit if it was that important hes jist lazy and doesnt want to fix it for new tennants

I don't think he's going to take us to court, it's just crazy lol. Oh well. @lovin2bhome It was a gift, he has no right to ask us for it back.

Even if he did try to take you to court, he gave it to you as a gift. It is now yours and you don't need to give it back.
