My doctor wants to induce me on my due date Wednesday. No medical issues or anything, just because. Has anyone else done that before?

I would say not to do it. It increases your chances of having a csection due to the induction method not progressing the way they want. Once they break yout water u have a certain amout of time the baby can in there

I did. Was in labor for 26 hrs and had her at 40+1 and she had to go to the nicu for rds because she was in the birth canal for too long
