I finally went and chopped off most of my hair yesterday! I've been growing it out for about 4 years and have been terrified of even getting a trim. But yesterday I took the plunge and cut it up to almost my shoulders (it was down to my waist!) and I absolutely love it! But now my cousin/best friend says I have "Mom Hair", haha.

Post a pic. I bet it's cute! For some reason I always want to chop all my hair off too during pregnancy. My bestie told me I'm not allowed to touch it this time cuz last time I ended up looking like Kate +8 ! But I'm thinking of getting a super loose perm and an hombre ... in my mind it's low maintenance what do you think

I've been wanting to cut it for awhile now.. my long hair was getting to be such a pain! It was always in my face so I wore it up all the time, but even up in a pony tail it was past my shoulders, haha. Once I got pregnant people told me not to cut it, but eff that! I feel great about it and I love it! :D I was gonna post a pic once I do my hair today, but I have some pics I took last night I'll put here in comments :)

And I think the ombre idea is great! That way if it grows out, your roots won't look terrible/noticeable haha. I made sure she blended the color at my roots so it would look more natural when it grows out.
I say go for it, mama! As my fiancé says, "it's just hair, it will grow back!"
(That's also how he convinced my to FINALLY shave the side of my head last year, too :p ) @mmegan0541

Love it!!!! Definitely not a late plus 8 lol. It looks so much healthier though and I bet it feels great, good for you! I dye my roots like every 6 weeks anyways cuz my hair has tons of grey, so yeah I was hoping the hombre thing would make it easy and cheaper to keep up. I love yours tho! I almost shaved the side of my head earlier this year.

Thank you! I think if you wanna do something crazy w your hair, ex. shaving part of it, go for it! It's just hair & it will grow back :p

And tbh, I don't think grey is bad, I actually like it.. natural or not. I actually had my hair lightened in some places to be silver-ish/grey, I just don't know if you can really tell in the photo I posted :x @mmegan0541
