It doesn't always hurt. Never once did it bother me.

Yes you're right, it does depend upon doctors. Some have big hands and some are just rougher than others. But then I know for some people no matter who does it, it still hurts them. Now when I was in full blown active labor that was excruciating pain getting checked.

I usually see different doctor at my office so maybe the next one won't be as bad. @jacesterlingsmommy, and great i was hoping the labor pains would block out the pain of be checked for dilation. Ugh 😑 it be worth it tho. Still excited trying not to get to scared of the pain.

The unknown is terrifying, I know. I was scared too. Honestly I'd go back to labor and birth in a heartbeat. I loved it. Of course I was in major pain but I've kind of forgotten just how bad it hurt. It was the most magical and amazing experience, pain and all! You'll do great. Our bodies are made to do this! I didn't get my epidural until 5 minutes before I started pushing. Honestly I'm glad I had gotten it because I could relax and focus but I'd like to try again for natural all the way next time.

Im going to do my best to not have any medicine. Im trying to think it not even an option. But i know i also want to enjoy my labor so if its to much, go ahead and drug me up lol 😂

Once your in labor and giving birth your body will release adrenaline and it won't be as painful. It's worth it to do it with no meds. Also ask if you can labor or birth in water, it helps the pain a TON

Only the baby is mine the boys are my step kids. I had no meds at all what so ever. I even had her at a birth center to make sure I didn't get any meds lol

Oh okay and thanks again for the positivity towards the pain lol. But i will be at a hospital. So i am just trying to mentally say its not an option and convince myself it isn't. @lucifermommy,
