I'm 23 and my mom has heart failure. She is my best friend and I see her almost everyday. The doctor gave her a life span of 5 years and ever since she has been crying to me and begging for a grandchild. I'm in an okay position to have children but my boyfriend says he's not ready to stop buying toys for himself. I want to give my mother grandchildren just as much as I want them to know how beautiful of a person she is. I feel torn between the two. If someone can give me advice I'd really appreciate it. I'm sorry for the difficult news but be positive, no diagnose is guaranteed. Live your life for yourself but be supportive and help your mom in whatever way you can but in no means do you need to give her a grandchild when your boyfriend isn't ready. Don't rush the process and explain to your mom a unhappy home life isn't healthy for a new baby. What's ment to be will be!
