Pet owners! How do you deal with all the pet hair? Not getting in contact with your baby's things.

We have 3 dogs, the best I could do is make​ sure the dogs don't enter our room where we keep all of our sons things. I tried cleaning and vaccuming frequently , but it just gets so annoying. I also use lint rollers, it's kinda hard to keep the hair away...It gets stuck to me, then travels through the air etc.

There's no way for me to stop it, I just make sure she doesn't eat it. So far no reactions or anything.

Just make sure dog knows she's not allowed in the baby's room. And we also use lint rollers.

I have 2 cats shedding like crazy because it hot now. If they where dogs I could manage the hair much easier but.. the can jump everywhere a gate would not help. And the one will ruin my carpet if i lock her in a room. @bluepenguin, @twinpeanut, @aliakr, @alimtz0510,

I've gotten my cat on kind of a baby schedule, he knows he's not allowed in the baby's room or on the baby's things. I just hope it stays that way once the baby is born. But to keep control of the hair I vacuum almost everyday and lint roller everything

Okay good idea im doing my best to train them. One is easy n listening. But the other is very hard headed. Do you have any suggestions? How did you train him/her?

@mooneyynk lots of treats, I completely spoiled him in other areas of the house so he was more tempted to go there than the other rooms, and I make sure he keeps his favorite toys away from the baby stuff, we also have a baby gate that he can very easily jump but we put a pillow on top of it so if he tried jumping on it he'd fall. He eventually learned that he wasn't supposed to jump the gate. It took about a month being on top of every little thing he did that I think he got bored of trying to fight us on where he could and couldn't go.

I shave my pup, vacuuming and lint rolling just wasnt doing it. I had to shave her there was no other choice. But it definitely minimized the loose hair everywhere. Drives me insane if i see it on my daughters hands or in the kitchen.
