Have any of you mommas had a midwife? What was your experience and would you recommend it?

I have a midwife and they are amazing !!! Honestly an amazing experience I would recommend it

@katiesmiles1, is it better than having a baby in a hospital?

@alimtz0510, it depends , my midwifes work with the hospital so it's like having a house birth but incase of anything you're still in the hospital and are able to be moved out of that room and into a regular L&D room

I had a midwife and I loved it I still gave birth at the hospital but the midwife was there and she was so helpful and sweet

@j.desantiag09, @raquely, i have an appointment with a midwife this Thursday ☺ she works at the hospital and that's where the birth will be. So I'll have the midwife but still deliver in a hospital.

12 hours. But I had medication all except for 5-6 hours

@cubanese, @erica95, is it cheaper than a obgyn?

She's located at the hospital so that's where I'll be giving birth. But I want a water birth

I wanted to do a natural birth but as soon as I started getting contractions I changed my mind and got an epidural lol
